Teresa owner/operator of Pawz Pet Sitting
|
Hi, I am Teresa the owner/operator of Pawz Pet Sitting. I started my business after relocating to the Central Coast from Qld 6 years ago and I chose pet sitting as I wanted to be able to work within an industry where I could use my passion and love for all animals, hence my business Pawz Pet Sitting evolved. I am a crazy animal lover and I just love caring for dogs in my home and also providing daily care visits to other peoples fur babies in their homes and dog walking because there is just something about furry cuddles and wet nose kisses that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside and I feel so very lucky to be able to do what I do for a job. I have been a volunteer with Peggy's Promise providing flea & tick treatment, worming, micro-chipping, food, dog washing and vet care to pets of those less fortunate than us living on the Central Coast and also a volunteer with CARE for Pets providing support for pets of incapacitated or terminally ill people when they can't.

I was awarded the Master Dog Breeders Association pet sitter/dog walker of the year award for 2014 which sits proudly on my desk in my office and constantly reminds me to keep providing the best possible service I can and clearly I must be doing something right.
I treat each and every pet I care for as if they were my own and each and every one of them has their own individual personality which just makes my job as a pet sitter so much more interesting, fun and rewarding.
Thanks to all of you who choose Pawz Pet Sitting as your preferred carer to care for you pets and who have in turn made us the successful and award winning business we are.

Chris services the Gosford Shire

Hi, I’m Chris Furse. I’ve just joined the team, looking after your pets at the bottom end of the Central Coast. I wasn’t allowed to have a dog as a child so now I’m making up for it. I have 2 Keeshonds full time and look after my Ziggy’s puppy Frankie when she isn’t in the show ring.
I’ve spent a lot of time looking after other people’s dogs and cats as a favour and it seemed a natural transition to do it as a job. I’m also a graphic designer and have run my own business from home for over 25 years so any dogs that stay with me have full on attention in the house during the day. I also live near the beach so they can enjoy some beach/off leash time too. I’m very happy to be part of this fantastic team and love Teresa’s professionalism. It’s a good fit. |

Elena services the Gosford Shire
|
Hello I'm Elena, originally from Russia-Siberia until I moved to Australia in 2013. I live on the border between Lisarow and Niagara Park with my husband and 7-year-old daughter. During my life I’ve always had different pets in my home, hamsters, parrots, fish, cats and dogs. Since my childhood I was interested in animals and my dream was to become a vet, but I never had the chance to do it. As a carer with Pawz Pet Sitting, this gives me the opportunity to spend more time with the animals I love. Our family has Flash, a cute and very energetic 3 year old Jack Russell and Tenterfield Terrier cross and also a goldfish called Sunny. My family loves to spend time with Flash walking, running, and playing ball with him. I am looking forward to welcoming your dogs into my home and providing daily care visits to pets in your home.

|
Daniel lives in Copacabana with his wife Moira, 3 huskies (Honey, Dak and Brom) and a Keeshond called Timmy. Daniel is known around his local area as "The Dog Man" by many Copacabana residents. Over the years he has had had a number of dogs originally all keesies that he used to breed and show, however the last 15 years has been devoted to adopting and fostering second-hand huskies, malamutes and Keeshonds. He brings them home for fostering and somehow or another they never leave! Brom is Daniel and Moira's 7th adoptee and they sure there will be more in the future. Daniel and Moira's fur kids are all indoor dogs and very sociable with others. They have provided shelter for lost Staffies, Bull Terriers and Jack Russell's over the years so they are used to having new fur playmates. They also have a couple of King Parrots and a cockatoo who come down for their food every day and are very cheeky about peeking in the window to see if the dogs are around. Daniel provides dog walking and visits to clients homes. Daniel is looking forward to making many more new friends, furry, scaly or feathered.

Kylee is an avid animal lover and always had her own pets and these have ranged from chooks to cats to horses and dogs. Her current dog Scooby is her very spoilt fur baby! Kylee and Scooby walk together, talk together and Scooby is a great hot water bottle for Kylee on those cold winter nights! But Scooby isn't the only love of Kylee's life - she also has a wonderful husband and a beautiful 16-year-old daughter. Working with animals has always been a dream of Kylee's and we are excited she is part of our Pawz Pet Sitting team. After almost 30 years in administration/sales positions, Kylee is ready to pursue her dreams and to keep your pets happy and healthy while you are away. Kylee is kind, caring and passionate about animals and is also very active. Jo services all areas of the Central Coast
|
Hi, A little introduction about me…. My name is Jo Chermside and I’m very excited to have found this opportunity to look after your pets which I vow to keep safe, well and happy whilst in my care. I am recognised by my family and friends as the reliable one you can always count on. I am loyal and when I make a commitment it is not in my nature to let people down. They’d also say I’m tidy and take pride in myself and home. I love animals and would have so many of my own if I could however I’m renting a tiny home which doesn’t have the provisions to accommodate a pet. I have looked after very elderly pets with complicated medicines, multiple family homes at one time and long term pet sitting. I also received a great review online for my work with Aussie House Sitting that also included pet sitting. I look forward to meeting you and providing care in your home for all pets around the Central Coast.

Svetlana services the North end of the Central Coast
|
Hi I am Svetlana "Lana", I'm 41 years old and I'm so excited to be joining the Pawz Pet sitting team. A little bit about myself... I was born in Russia and came to Australia in 2008. I have three boys 22, 7 and 4 years old... We are a very multicultural family, my husband is Portuguese and he grew up in China. My family always had lots of different animals when I was growing up, hamsters, fish, cats and we also had a Border Collie and Labrador. At the moment our family has no pets and so it gets pretty lonely, but we are thinking of getting a dog soon. I would love your dogs to come and stay with our family at our home at Tuggerah where they will receive lots of love and care. I will also be providing daily care visits to pets at your homes on the Northern end of the Coast.

June services the North end of the Central Coast
|
June has been a committed doggie mother for the last 26 years and treats her beloved dogs as loving companions and welcome friends and adores little doggies. She enjoys making sure they are happy and well cared for and get lots of cuddles. Located in San Remo, June is enjoying semi retirement and the latter years of her beloved Nelson, a now elderly Shitzu/Maltese of 15 years who recently lost his life partner Muffin in 2019. In the past they enjoyed walking by the lake but now Nelson enjoys short strolls accompanied with a doggie pram just in case, able to enjoy his outings once again. As a previous customer of Pawz, June was impressed with the service and is now pleased to be able to help you care for your dog when you are away whilst providing Nelson with some doggie company. June is happy to take small dogs only at this stage as that is what her home is set up for. Her home is fully fenced and private. There is a large undercover deck that provides shelter all year round and small front and backyards that are safely enclosed. Small dogs can access the backyard anytime via the doggy door. June and her husband are happy to accommodate overnight stays and June can also visit your place to care for your babies if they’d prefer to stay at home.

Fiona services Lake Macquarie and Newcastle
|
From the time Fiona was 3 years old there have almost always been pets in her life. After surviving a whopping 4 months in a dog-free household, Bowie the labradoodle most recently joined the family. While attending 'puppy pre-school' with Bowie, the instructor told Fiona that she was a natural dog-trainer, an interest that only grew as she came to idolize tv animal-behaviourist Victoria Stillwell, of 'It's Me Or the Dog' fame. Fiona has several years' experience as a pet-sitter, having met many dedicated owners all over the Newcastle/Lake Macquarie area and minded their lovable pets. Though she has somehow come to specialize in 'oodles' - poodles, labradoodles, groodles, cavoodles, bichoodles - she has tended to dogs of all kinds and sizes, along with the occasional cat, and one very memorable guinea pig! When not pet-sitting (and even while pet-sitting), Fiona works as a freelance graphic designer. She has a close partnership with Hunter Animal Rescue, creating artwork for the pet-fostering charity to sell at fund-raising drives. Having what one recurring client referred to as a 'kind and gentle manner', she is particularly adept at caring for pets with separation anxiety and other nervous conditions. Fiona will provide daily care visits and in home pet sitting to clients in Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Newcastle.

Niki moved with her parents to Australia and had a dog, German Shepherd cross Kelpie Sheba, two cats, a tortoise shell Tabitha and half Persian Misty, a yellow budgie called Joey who talked and also fish (all rescue animals). Nikiʼs Mum ran a pet shop business in Toukley for over 10 years which she helped out in on weekends and school holidays. There were birds, fish and the odd rabbit or hamster. Niki and her wonderful husband Carl of over 31 years and their beautiful daughter Sharni 15 and a cute rescue cat tortoise shell Kawaii and they also have a pet snake nibbles, live at Mannering Park and are currently building at Watagan Estate Cooranbong. Ali provides overnight care & daily pet visits in her surrounding areas - Long Jetty
|
Hello, I’m Ali… and I live at Long Jetty. My family has three fur babies so there is never a dull moment and plenty of love to go around. When I was young I lived with my grandparents on their farm and spent all my time with the animals. Growing up in the country can be a little isolating so I sought company and comfort from my fur and feathered friends. I work as a specialised support worker for people with disabilities and mental health challenges. I have seen and experienced the healing effect animals have on people and I am looking to train in the field of animal assisted therapy. I am very excited to join the Pawz Pet Sitting team. I will endeavour to provide loving care for your animal companions by providing daily care visits and in home pet sitting along with plenty of cuddles and tummy rubs.

Amanda from B&C Canine Cookies
|
Amanda from B&C Canine Cookies provides Pawz Pet Sitting with all the amazing and delicious dog cookies we give to our clients. B&C Canine Cookies is a business based on homemade, natural and healthy treats for dogs using real meat, rice & veggies with no added sugars, salts or even stock - ALL FLAVOUR COMES FROM NATURAL INGREDIENTS! All products are tested and approved by Amanda’s 2 golden retrievers Byron & Cuillan. Amanda started making treats for her dogs due to Cuillan having such a sensitive stomach. Our beloved Peter
|
Our 11 year old Beagle x Peter, affectionately known as "Prince Peter" or "Stinky Pete" is the reason I am able to run my business so successfully. He is such a relaxed, happy and playful boy and loves his time with all the dogs that visit our home. He has more than a few strange habits which definitely make our life interesting and he has on occasion I am sure taught some of our visitors some of those habits and perhaps picked up a few of theirs. His favourite treats are frozen chicken necks (even in Winter) and his favourite game is fetch. He loves a walk, is not too keen on going in the car or getting wet and can be a bit of a homebody and particularly loves every other dogs bed except his. He is our boy and we love him.
